A Bachelor Party also known as a stage party is a celebration of the groom’s impending nuptials and say bye to his single life. It is usually attended by the groom’s close friends and family members. The party gives one last chance to the groom to bond and have fun with his closest people before getting hitched. 1) Road Trip
If you have watched the 2000 movie road trip, you perhaps know what we are talking about. It can be quite fun and memorable. If you are planning a road trip, choose places the groom would get excited to be but has probably never gone. It could be to a game park, a famous mountain or it could just be an all-round trip. We recall a bachelor party in Uganda where boys got in a car and drove to 8 cities overnight, a distance of about 350km. To spice up the trip, at every city they stopped, they painted the city with their wedding craze, had a few drinks and played some pool-table games. Try this only if you have a designated SOBER driver! That said, a road trip is a great way to get out of town and probably visit places you haven’t been before. Other fun things you can do on the road include play travel boardgames, Cracking jokes (and making the groom the butt of most of them), listen to playlists and relieving childhood and youthful memories. Oh, by the way don’t forget to capture the moments and tell the story.
2) Bungee Jumping
If the groom is into adrenaline-filled recreational activity then bungee jumping will be thrilling for him. It involves head-first jumping from a great height while connected to a large elastic cord. An unforgettable experience, he will relish the excitement and fear factor around it. If you tend towards acrophobia or have heart-related complications, consider seeking your doctor’s advice before embarking on this activity.
3) Backyard BBQ
In case you are not a fun of trips or you cannot afford it at the moment, and you prefer something simple but memorable then a backyard BBQ party is the way to go. If the groom cannot host it or has no backyard, you may consider renting a venue with a garden. Create memories as you roast together and bond over food and beer. You will relish these memories.
4) Paintball War
Paintball is a game which involves teams or individual players competing to eliminate other players by hitting them with paint-filled pellets fired from a compressed gas-powered gun. Don’t worry, it’s completely safe! This game is fun for the boys to meet and compete against each other.
5) Camping adventure
If you love the great outdoors, this is a great activity for bonding especially for those that relish an adventure. Go off to a cliff, a hill or some renown camping site and savor up a great interaction of probably a night in the woods with a few stories and memories to reminisce around a fire. You could spice it up with a few drinks, card games and a bit of country music karaoke with all folks singing along.
