Celebrity weddings are forever a boundless bliss to experience whether as a guest, the couple, or the fans and ‘the haters’ too, we are told. Be it a big, small, private, or mass show function, the grins and delights are thoughtful. A little belated, but we are delighted to showcase the 2023 list of celebrity weddings which includes royalty like Princess Iman of Jordan wedding Jameel Thermiotis, Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg marrying Nicolas Bagory, Joel Embiid who married Anne de Paula, Trae Young and Shelby Miller, Chris Evans, and Alba Baptista among many others. Here is a detailed list of celebrities who started 2023 alone but ended up as ‘ONE’ with their better half.
1. Greg Deichmann and Burckel Gervais
Baseball outfielder shared an Instagram post to celebrate his wedding to Burckel Gervais in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He wrote “1.7.2023 I married my best friend. The happiness and love we felt the whole weekend was something we will never forget. To everyone that joined us for our special weekend, we can only attempt to express our gratitude for making it the most joyful and amazing weekend we could only dream of. Cheers to forever 🥂 -The Deichmann’s” Gervais walked down the aisle in a Galia Lahav gown to the song, "I Get to Love You," by Ruelle.
2. Princess Azemah and Prince Bahar
Brunei is where royal weddings started in 2023. Princess Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah of Brunei and first cousin Prince Bahar married at Istana Nurul Iman, the Sultan of Brunei's official residence. The wedding, which was a week-long celebration started on 11th Jan, featuring numerous events, including a Royal Powdering Ceremony, an Islamic ceremony at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, and a reception at the Sultan's palace.
3. Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira
On 28th January, singer and Actor, Marc Anthony levelled up the number of his marriages to match his 4 Grammy awards wins when he wedded his model girlfriend and former miss Paraguay, Nadia Ferreira at the Herzog & de Meuron-designed Pérez Art Museum in Miami, Florida. The lavish ceremony featured a big-name guest list including David and Victoria Beckham, Salma Hayek, Maluma, Lin Manuel Miranda, and more.
4. Abigail Breslin and Ira Kunyansky
Abigail Breslin tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Ira Kunyansky at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, California on January 28, 2023. The day after the wedding, the Little Miss Sunshine star announced her newly married status by debuting her diamond wedding band on Instagram.

Mr. and Mrs. Misra became one in a low-key event at the start of the year at a court ceremony in India and hosting their 85 guests to a reception in which each of the attendees was dressed in the latest House of Masaba collection.
6. Sophie Simmons and James Henderson
Daughter of rock icon Gene Simmons and actress Shannon Tweed, Sophie Alexandra Tweed Simmons married singer and longtime love James Henderson on Feb 17th at her mom’s Malibu house. Sophie wore a dress by Galia Lahav while James had on a Tom Ford suit.
7. Song Joong- ki and Katie Louise Saunders
South Korean actor and British actress Katie have been married since 30th Jan. Song Joong and Katie’s relationship was first confirmed by his agency stating that he has been seeing someone and has good feelings towards her.
8. Ben Savage and Tessa Angermeier
American actor and US Congress aspirant, Bennett Joseph Savage, who played the lead role in ‘Boy Meets World’ is officially off the streets after wedding his fiancée Tessa Angermeier in February following close to 4 years of dating. Savage announced their engagement on Instagram with a subtle post of Tessa flashing a diamond sparkler on her ring finger captioned “The best is yet to come.”
9. Erica Vazquez Bacardi and Joey Depriest Capparelli
Rum heiress Hilda Maria Bacardi’s daughter Erica Vazquez wed Joey Depriest-Capparelli on March 4th in an epic forest wedding at the Four Seasons Resort, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She wore a custom-made gown by Galia Lahav. The reception took place in the grand ballroom, which was decorated with trees illuminated with speckled lighting and a custom dance floor designed to look like guests were dancing on water.
10. Princess Iman of Jordan and Jameel Thermiotis
A week from the Royal Hashemite Court announcing the wedding date of Princess Iman of Jordan and Jameel Thermiotis, the couple said “Yes, I do” on March 12. Iman’s brother, Crown Prince Hussein, walked the bride down the floral-lined aisle.
11. Lady Amelia Spencer and Greg Mallett
Lady Amelia Spencer, niece to the late Princess Diana got married to health fitness and nutrition guru, Greg Mallett on 21st March after about 14 years of dating. The daughter of Princess Diana’s brother exchanged vows with her boyfriend in a quiet ceremony at Quoin Rock Manor House in South Africa. Both the bride and groom wore Atelier Versace.
12. Brooke Kuhlman and Landon Dickerson
Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon on 25th March in a beautiful mountainside ceremony at Glass Chapel, South Carolina married his college sweetheart Brooke Kuhlman. The couple reportedly rented out Hotel Domestique for the 2 days celebration. Landon, a native of Hudson, NC, grew up in the mountains. Brooke enjoys hiking hence the mountain wedding.
13. Racheal Bradshaw and Chase Lybbert
The Bradshaw Bunch’s Racheal Bradshaw exchanged vows with Chase Lybbert in a Texas country courthouse on 25th March. The E! reality Tv star and husband celebrated the union at a country club reception.
14. Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo
The made in Chelsea reality stars had a legal ceremony on Friday 14th April at the Chelsea registry office before flying to Marbella for the celebration with friends and family. Sophie wore a long sleeve lace wedding dress before changing into a slinky satin reception dress.
15. Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens
In another April celebrity wedding, gymnast and Olympic medalist, Simone Biles and NFL player Jonathan Owens tied the knot at a Houston courthouse on April 21 and in May hosted in Cabo, Mexico their 144 guests to a reception. Simone and Jonathan first met on the dating app Raya in 2020, with the gold medalist making the first move and sliding into his DMs.
16. Sofia Richie and Elliot Grange
Lionel Richie’s younger daughter, Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge tied the knot on April 22nd at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. Richie’s wardrobe was exclusively Chanel for the prestigious event, which featured a big-name guest list Cameron Diaz, Paris Hilton, elder sister-Nicole Richie, and Joel Madden, among others.
17. Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg and Nicolas Bagory
April 22 was the magical wedding date in 2023 because even Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg and Nicolas Bagory had their civil wedding at the Town Hall of Luxembourg City. The couple exchanged vows during an intimate service in front of their families. On their way back to a private evening reception at The Grand Ducal Palace they passed by the Rue de La Reine greeting the enthused public as they had before the vows. A week after, the duo hosted a religious ceremony at the Church of Saint Trophy in Bormes-les-Mimosa, France.
19. Kamila Hansen and Oren Alexander
Model, Kamila Hansen and Oren Alexander married in April at a Beach wedding in Miami, Florida. She wore a Galia Lahav floral patterned lace strapped dress while he wore an off-white suit with a white shirt to match.

40th US president, Ronald Reagan’s youngest granddaughter, Ashley Reagan, exchanged vows with police officer boyfriend Joe Dunster on May 5, 2023, in California during an intimate ceremony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Montecito.

Grammy winner and Cheap Thrills hit maker, Sia, full names Sia Kate Isobelle Furler married longtime boyfriend on 8th May in an intimate and lowkey Italian wedding at Dolce and Gabbana’s luxury Italian villa, the same venue that Kourtney Kardashian wed Travis. The Australian singer and songwriter wore a mermaid lace wedding gown while Bernad chose an off-white tux and bowtie for the nuptials. Only about 8 people were invited.
22. Sydney Lutuaco and Nick Wehby
When her reality Tv journey on The Bachelor ended, Sydney began a real-life romance with Nick Wehby. She wore a strapless white gown while Nick wore a black tuxedo to their wedding on May 13th at Mimos Barn in Cape Charles.
23. Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Sophie Evekink
Munich was abuzz with excitement in yet another Royal wedding when one of its most eligible bachelors’ Prince Ludwig,40, married his Dutch Canadian fiancée, Sophie Evekink ,34, in a religious ceremony at Theatine Church on 20th May. The eldest son of Princess Beatrix and Prince Luitpold of Bavaria and his beautiful wife plus guests were later hosted by his cousin, Franz, Duke of Bavaria with a reception at Nymphenburg Palace.

Renown stylist Baek Heungkwon and Sein lee celebrated their wedding on 21st May 2023 at the Grand Hyatt in Seoul. The function attracted a host of celebrities from Korea and around the globe.

Kate Bosworth and Justin Long tied the knot in an off-the-cuff ceremony in May, 2023. They had an event, liked the place and returned the next day to get married. The actor, 40, and Long, 44 first met while on the set of House of Darkness in 2021 and sparked dating rumours around a year later.

Crown prince and heir to the throne of Jordan, prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah wed Rajwa Al Saif at Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan on 1st June. The ceremony featured royalty and foreign dignitaries from around the world like US First lady Jill Biden, Prince William and Kate, Princess Beatrice and her husband.

Actress, Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup tied the knot on 9th June 2023 after six years of dating. The pair reportedly got engaged in April but started seeing each other in 2017 after their joint act in the Netflix series Gypsy.

Rapper Eminem’s adopted daughter Aliana, 30, said ‘I do’ to her husband Matt Moeller in a beautiful ceremony with sister Hailie Jade as maid of honor and Eminem walking her down the aisle. Aliana posted on Instagram a series of her wedding day photos on 9th June with the captions “simply one of the best days of my life. In this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours,”

American model, Taylor Hill married Daniel Fryer in Winter Park, Colorado during a ceremony with family and close friends on 10th June 2023. Hill and Fryer met in Aspen, Colorado in 2019 and began dating shortly after. The couple was engaged in Positano, Italy in 2021.

Opting for a destination wedding, Australian singer, songwriter and former Australian rules footballer, James Gabriel Keogh, known professionally as Vance Joy tied the knot with Spanish art Director girlfriend, Selen Us in Istanbul, Turkey on June 15th. Selen was the inspiration behind Vance’s chart-topping song “Missing Piece” which he wrote during lockdown while in Australia, and her in Barcelona.

Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola tied the knot in a big-name ceremony at Anderson Canyon in the Big Sur region of California on 24th June 2023. The pair, who first met in 2015, were engaged four months prior to the wedding but had been dating since 2020. Wedding guests included big names—Brooke Shields, Billy Crudup (who had married just two weeks before), Paul Ruud, Tina Fey, among others.
32. Tyler Barnhardt and Adriana Schaps
0n June 17th at the Siempre in Draper, Utah, 13 Reasons Why actor Tyler Barnhardt married his adorable girlfriend Adriana Schaps in a pink themed wedding celebration. The couple met on a dating app in 2018 and have exchanged vows nearly two years after they announced their engagement in 2021. The ceremony was officiated by the couples’ friend.

In yet another royal wedding of the year, Prime
Minister of UAE’s daughter Mahra Al Makhtoum got married in a lavish ceremony
held in the capital at Saeed Hall, Dubai World Trade Center in June. The groom
wore the traditional Emirati wear while the bride had a more westernized look.

Having first met and fallen in love when both were playing basketball for Gonzaga University, Corey who now plays for the Washington Wizards and lover, Jenn got married on July 7th in San Clemente, California at the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano.
39. Prince Amaury of Bourbon-Parma and Pelagie de Mac Mahon
Prince Amaury of Bourbon Parma is the eldest child of Prince Charles Emmanuel of Bourbon Parma and Princess Constance de Ravinel. Pelagie de Mac Mahon, a sister to the Duke of Magenta is a descendant of General Macmahon who served as French president from 1875 to 1979. The happy couple held a civil ceremony and a religious one a month later where they exchanged vows at the Saint Lazre Cathedral in Autumn, France on 8th July. The wedding was nothing short of royalty ensemble.

Creed II Swedish actor, Dolph, 65, exchanged vows with his personal trainer girlfriend, Emma, 27, in an intimate wedding on 13th July at their villa in Mykonos, Greece. Lundgren popped the question to Krokdal, a Norwegian personal trainer, in June 2020, sharing the news on Instagram with a photo of his bride-to-be showing off her engagement ring.

Actor Dylan Sprouse, 30, and Hungarian model Barbara Palvin, 29, tied the knot in Hungary on July 15 just a month after publicly confirming their engagement. They got married in the same church that Palvin’s parents did over 3 decades before.

In his native Essex at 380-acre Osea Island in Blackwater Estuary, English singer, songwriter, and television star, Olly Murs full names, Oliver Stanley Murs married Amelia Tank, a bodybuilder and model. The couple announced their engagement on 7th June after Olly’s proposal 4 days before. They wed on 15th July 2023 in a three-day celebration that started on 14th July. Reception performances included Olly himself, singer Craig David, Olly’s band, and singer Katie Holmes.

English actress and model Georgia May married her long-term partner, musical artist, Kris Evans in Cumbria on 15th July surrounded by their close friends and family. After a nearly two year engagement following three years of dating musician Kris, who previously competed on Britain's Got Talent with his band The Mend, the former Coronation Street actress can ‘finally stop crying’ now that the vows are done.
Philadelphia 76ers player Joel Embiid tied the knot with Sports Illustrated model Anne de Paula on July 22, 2023, in Southampton, New York. The couple, who are parents to son Arthur, snapped portraits on the beach before exchanging vows in a church ceremony.
Atlanta Hawks player Trae Young said, “ I do” to college sweetheart Shelby Miller at the Ocean Club on Parade Island in the Bahamas on July 24, 2023. He used Instagram to share this excitement.
After a nearly two-decade-long engagement, Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt have tied the knot. The actor and ex-Ferrari CEO held an intimate ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland on July 27, 2023. Yeoh shared the exciting news with a caption of her Instagram post, writing: “19 years and YES!! We are married!! Thanks to our ‘families’... who love us for all these years. We love you and here’s to many more to come.”

The newlyweds shared their first dance to "Fall into Me" by Forest Blakk. It is said that attendees were asked to sign NDAs and could not use their phones. 58. Wolfgang Van Halen and Andraia Allsop
Wolfgang Van Halen, son of actress Valerie Bertinelli and rock star Eddie Van Halen wedded Andraia Allsop on October 15th at their home in Los Angeles. Andraia stunned in a long-sleeved lacey gown.

English actress Isobel Doroth Powley popularly known as Bel Powley revealed that she and actor and musician Douglas were wedded on October 28th in London in the most filled ceremony. Powley also revealed the pair planned their entire wedding themselves in just six months. The couple initially met on the set of the period drama Mary Shelley back in 2016 and went on to get engaged in July 2021.
60. Milo Ventimiglia and Jarrah Mariano
Milo Ventimiglia and Jarrah Mariano wedded in a quiet private ceremony on October 30th. The private ceremony had only close friends and family in attendance. It is said to be the first marriage for both 46-year-old Ventimiglia and 38-year-old Mariano, a rarity in celebrity circles.
61. Tia Booth and Taylor Mock
Bachelor season 22 contestant, Tia Booth is a bachelorette no more after marrying fiancée Taylor in Nashville at Diamond Creek Farms in a two-day long celebration. The couple, who have been a thing for close to three years and share a son celebrated their union in front of 225 guests. Their one-year-old son, Tatum accompanied his father, Taylor up the aisle in a matching tuxedo on 6th November.

Popular Nollywood stars, actress Ekene Umenwa and actor boyfriend Alex got married in style in November. The ceremony was in Benin City. It was honored by many of the couples’ friends and family.
63. Adele and Rich Paul
The Hello singer is said to have confirmed her marriage to Rich Paul to the audience at an Alan Carr comedy on 18th November after the comedian asked the crowd if anyone had recently tied the knot and she shouted “I did” much to the delight of her fans.
64. Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker
High School Musical actress Vanessa married baseball player Cole Tucker at the Azulik Hotel, Tulum Mexico on 2nd December. The actress and MLB player began dating in 2020 after meeting on a zoom group call and were engaged in February 2023. Vanessa wore 2 Vera Wang slip dresses, one featuring a cowl neck and plunging back she described as perfect, simple, and chic.

goes to Kenyan Musician, Esther Akoth popularly known as ‘Akothee’. In April
2023, Akothee who had a year before divorced Jared Okello, her husband of five
years married her Mzungu fiancée Denis Schmeizer aka Omosh in a lavish ceremony
attended by the ‘who is who’ of the Nairobi celebrity class.
She immediately announced a sabattical from both her social media and any other duty to work on making her relationship work including getting pregnant.
Just two months down the road though, in a shocking announcement to whoever cared, Akothee revealed she was divorcing Omosh having discovered some facts while they were on honeymoon. We not only love weddings, we loved marriages. And that’s perhaps why Akothee’s wedding and subsequent two month marriage felt like a prank. We hope to hear a little more about this!
